To rid yourself of acne, try to spend more time outdoors under the sun. Sunlight will help dry out your skin and remove excess oil. Initially, your acne may worsen because your skin’s natural oil in drawn to the surface. This should not last long and once your skin is dry, you should not see as many break outs as before.
Try not to wear any makeup for a period of time or go to water based makeup to help acne. Makeup can clog pores and make acne worse. Resist the temptation to use cosmetics as an acne cover-up. If you stop wearing makeup for a few days, you will clean your pores and your skin.
